| In the day and age of “hit singles” and our culture’s tendency to suffer from attention deficit disorder the art of “an album” has been nearly lost. Thankfully, bands like Opeth and Between The Buried & Me have helped to let us never forget what it’s like to give music our full attention. They don’t suggest paying attention while listening they demand it with their vast and bold compositions. Minnesota's IRON THRONES is the latest band to bring an album that massive to the metal table. Visions Of Light is a all encompassing metal smorgasbord that took three years to complete. What began as a grassroots promotional campaign for Visions Of Light has now grown into the culmination of a record label and band working together to keep the “art” of music alive and well for 2009 and beyond. |
