2009 - TEN YEARS FOR TRIBUNAL RECORDS
We are open for business and so excited that 2009 is upon us. It was 10 years ago that we started the label with a, then, little known band called PRAYER FOR CLEANSING and the rest is history.
We will have our 10th anniversary/100th release out sometime this year. If you haven't heard it will be a compilation release of Tribunal artists doing some of their favorite cover songs.
Thanks to everyone who has continued to support our little venture throughout the years. We are excited for all that is to come this year and beyond!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS - OFFICE CLOSING
We want to thank all the fans for making 2008 an amazing year for us here at Tribunal Records. We also want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. If you are traveling to see family (like we are) be safe in your journeys.
Our offices will be closed starting Monday (12/22) at 5pm and we will re-open the following Monday (12/29). Despite being gone we will have limited access to emails so if you have any questions be sure to hit us up.
Also, please note our offices will remain open after the 29th despite the year end KILLWHITNEYDEAD mini tour I will be participating in. We hope to see all the NC and VA fans for one last year end blowout.

KILLWHITNEYDEAD HOLIDAY EP AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER
KILLWHITNEYDEAD's Limited Edition Holiday CDEP Stocking Stuffher is available right now in the Estore for pre-ordering. ALL orders will be ship beginning 12/1 and continue through the month until we are sold out.
This special edition EP is limited to 1,000 units and are already selling quickly after only 2 days of ordering. Nearly half of the estore stock has been depleted. The band will be taking the remaining copies on tour during their "DECEMBER TO REMEMBER: The Sequel" mini tour which begins 12/1.

THE FEDS BREAKING UP
"After 13 years The Feds are disbanding."
Well, it's certainly a sad day here in the Tribunal offices as one of our favorite bands ever, THE FEDS, are deciding to call it quits. They have had a great run (13 friggin' years!!) and we are totally understanding of their need to move on.
They have two final shows left before it's finally laid to rest:

If you are wanting to hear some of the catchiest rock n roll to never make it to the top of the pops then check out "Saturday Girl" HERE and you will then understand why this album is in our favorite 5 albums we have ever released.
We will have one last track of theirs to appear on Tribunal Records 100 next year as they have tracked a smokin' cover of HEART's "Barracuda" for inclusion on our 10th Anniversary collection.

KILLWHITNEYDEAD & THE DEMONSTRATION WINTER TOUR
KILLWHITNEYDEAD and THE DEMONSTRATION will be out on the road in December with SALT THE WOUND. The Demonstration will be out in support of their new album and KWD will be out to support their limited edition holiday CDEP entitled Stocking Stuffher. It will be available at all stops along the tour as well as via our Estore starting December 1st. The EP is limited to 1,000 copies and we don't expect them to last long. Pre-orders will be taken very soon, also please note we will be offering a special package deal for mulitple copies. It is the season of giving, don't forget.

TRIBUNAL DISTRIBUTION
We haven't really publicized the fact that we have a distribution because we really haven't had too much in stock. We occasionally trade our releases for releases from CENTURY MEDIA, PROSTHETIC, EARACHE and various other labels.
We sell them for pretty cheap since we can sell Tribunal Records releases for pretty cheap, normally. We just got some new stock in which includes new releases from INTO ETERNITY, INTRONAUT, POISONBLACK and we will have some new stuff from Prosthetic Records arriving early next week. So check the link below for current stock as well as checking back regularly to see what is new.
We have some "oddball" items from their respective catalogs as well. The releases I pick out are usually albums that I personally love and would like to see other fans of aggressive music have in their collections. If you want recommendations please drop me an email as I would be glad to lend my opinion. I did manage a record store for over a decade.

DIVEBOMB RECORDS UPDATE
Our reissue division is well under way now with 3 reissues under our belts. TKO and DIMAGE reissues are all getting rave reviews in the press and tons of great fan responses as well and that has us looking forward to reissuing all three of SARGANT FURY's album for the first time in North America.
Still Want More, Little Fish and Turn The Page have been remastered by none other than Jamie King at The Basement Studios here in North Carolina. Jamie has been secretly helping me remaster a ton of my old 80's metal albums so this was nothing new for him to tackle. They sound massive and punchy now with new mastering complete.
We are still working on clearing up the "red tape" involved with dealing with Warner Brother Records Germany so we can clear the rights and get these bad boys back out into the fan's hands. Stay tuned...

LINE OF FIRE/THE MURDERED ALBUM UPDATES
Well, both bands have been checking in with me since my return and I am happy to report that progress is moving forward on both their new albums once again. It's weird that both albums hit just about the same exact roadblock in both of their respective productions.
Either way, the hindrances have been removed and we are now on our way to having both records out in early 2009!
